Description
This setting of the traditional Agnus Dei text is full of yearning as the sinner pleads for mercy. As the harrowing semitone voice-leading rises through a series of tense and resolving chords, it finally opens up to the 'Dona Nobis Pacem' with full-body pleas for forgiveness, peace, and rest.
